How do you know what you really want? I hear people struggling with knowing what they really want and what’s really best for them, ALL the time.
This can range from small stuff - like ‘what do I want to eat today?’ or ‘what shall I do this weekend?’ right through to the bigger things like where you want to live, who you want to be with romantically, and what you want to do for work.
Are you living a life that is true to you?
It takes courage to live a life that is authentically you.
Sometimes when we contemplate making changes, fears come up around the unknown, or what other people might say.
But when we do live a life that is truly ours, we live a life of PEACE. Life becomes easier and we can even reach a state of FLOW, with decision-making a breeze.
Even better, when we’re living authentically, we ATTRACT the things that are right for us, almost effortlessly.
The sacral chakra is a gateway to authenticity
Each chakra, or energy centre in the body, correlates to specific emotional, physical and mental ailments.
When our chakras are out of balance we may feel scattered, worried, moody, confused and unclear and experience dis-ease and pain in the physical body.
Our second chakra, the sacral chakra, is located below the navel and linked with our reproductive organs. It is associated with pleasure, creativity and enjoyment of life.
When our sacral chakra is balanced we have:
Balance the sacral chakra
Our yoga practice helps us to balance the energy of the sacral chakra in a number of ways.
Yoga helps us:
Listening to your womb wisdom
One of the most powerful ways to ensure you are CREATING the things you want, is to tap into the wisdom of the womb.
For women, the womb can be an area that carries a lot of shame, sexual repression, and trauma (not just our own but the trauma of generations before us and the trauma of all women).
Taking the time to connect to the deepest part of ourselves, our deepest wisdom, can yield remarkable results.
Your body wisdom will always tell you the way to go. If you struggle to know what you want, take this invitation to slow down, become present and notice the messages from your body.
